"The Passing Of The Mantle"
Pastor Leandre Green &

Bishop Calvin Scott

To everything, there is a season. As one season comes to a close, another begins. Just as Moses passed the mantle to Joshua, I am honored to pass the mantle of leadership to Evangelist Leandra Green as the new pastor of Believers Temple Word Fellowship.

I am profoundly grateful to God for blessing me and His kingdom with a modern-day Joshua. After serving as Senior Pastor of Believers Temple Word Fellowship for the past thirty-two years, I now transition to the role of Pastor Emeritus with full confidence that Evangelist Leandra Green has been called for such a time as this.

She has consistently demonstrated faithfulness and dedication to God’s will, not only in ministry but also in her roles as a wife, mother, and leader. Her character and integrity are unwavering, but what I admire most is her humility and eagerness to receive wisdom and instruction as she leads God’s people. The Bible teaches that humility precedes honor, and her hunger and love for God have positioned her for this moment.

Every leader seeks to entrust their legacy to someone they believe in, and as both her pastor and father, I wholeheartedly trust Evangelist Leandra Green to lead God’s people and steward the business of His kingdom with wisdom and grace. It is with great joy and confidence that I pass the mantle of Believers Temple Word Fellowship Ministry to my daughter, Evangelist Leandra Green. I am certain that the favor and anointing upon her life will impact generations to come.

May God bless this new season of ministry.

His Grace,

Bishop Calvin Scott
