There lived a man whose business grew to 1,400 stores. His net worth of 18 million was lost to Financial ruin during the Great Depression. The stores collapsed, soon thereafter. It took a huge toll on his mental health and he was committed to a sanitorium. Gripped by despair, while there, he was walking in the halls and overheard a group of church women singing the great Hymn: “GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!” He entered the room. He was so moved, he gave his life to Christ

and was born again.

His mental health was immediately restored and he was soon released. God favored him to rebuild his business. It grew “bigger than before.” His wealth returned and doubled what it was before he lost it. It grew massively to 35 million dollars. God gave him “DOUBLE FOR HIS TROUBLE!” He was determined to live of of 10% and give God’s Work 90%. HE KEPT HIS VOW! GOD KEPT HIS PROMISE! His stores remained profitable long after his death in 1970. His name was James Cash. You might have heard of JC Penney. #25SayDouble

Moral of the story: “God’s Got You, As Long As You’ve Got Him! Be not dismayed, whatever betide, God will take care of you!” Isaiah 61:7 (Msg Bible) “Because you got a double dose of trouble and more than your share of contempt, your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy will go on forever.” #BTW: $35 million in 1970, is $280 million in 2024. #MoreThanDouble.
